LaserGujarati® in Unicode™ for Windows® or
Macintosh®
provides a professional-quality Unicode-encoded Gujarati font in TrueType® OpenType® format, in plain,
bold, italic, and bold-italic weights, for
typing Gujarati, English, and other west European languages. The
GujaratiLSU™ font contains hundreds of conjuncts including composite and
half-form. The product
includes a phonetic keyboard layout for easy, intuitive input of
consonants, vowels, and conjuncts. The keyboard layout places the
consonants and vowels on the US keyboard phonetically as much as
possible, and provides four characters per key
(instead of the normal two) for easy input of Gujarati.
Conjuncts are formed by simply typing the "a" key between consonants.

Vowels are positioned automatically as you type.

The font also makes the complete alphabet and conjuncts with preceding
or succeeding "ra".

See below for additional samples.
LaserGujarati in Unicode is available for both
Windows and Macintosh.

LaserGujarati® in Unicode™ for
Windows® includes two keyboard layouts that provide
four characters per key (instead of the normal two) for easy, intuitive
input of Gujarati, English, west European, and other supported languages, using Microsoft Word 2007,
Word 2003, InDesign CS4 (with installation of World Tools or ScribeDOOR), or the free OpenOffice.org
3.0
word processor in Windows
7, Windows Vista, Windows XP, and Windows 2000 SP3. The
keyboard layouts take advantage of the OpenType layout features built into
the fonts for logical, intuitive input. System Requirements:
 | Operating Systems
 |

XP, or Windows 2000 Service Pack 3 or newer. |
 |
Requires Windows complex script Supplemental
Language Support in Windows XP and 2000. To install this requires your Windows
XP or 2000 installation CD. We show you how to install this feature
as part of setup. (This feature is built into Windows Vista and does
not need to be separately installed.) |
 |
This product will not work in any earlier version of
Windows (NT/Me/98/95/3.x). |
|
|
 | Applications

Microsoft Office 2003) is not compatible with

clipboard. PowerPoint users should type their text in Word
or another Unicode-compatible application, and save the text
as a graphic for import into PowerPoint. Users can also use
WordArt to create their text. To do this in PowerPoint go to
Insert, Picture, WordArt, and type your text, formatting it
as desired. Alternatively, users can type directly into
PowerPoint using our non-Unicode LaserGujarati
fonts. |
