LaserGwich'in for Windows
Professional quality, hinted, scalable GwichinLS fonts in both TrueType®
and Type 1 (PostScript®) font formats. LaserGwich'in comes in five typestyles (Time®-, Helvetica®-,
Palatino®-, Garamond-, and Chancery-styles), all in plain, bold, italic,
and bold-italic styles (except Chancery, which is in plain
only). The GwichinLS fonts include all the characters and diacritics needed to type both
the modern and older forms of the Gwich'in language. The fonts also type the following
Athapaskan languages: Hän, Kaska, Northern Tutchone, Southern Tutchone, Tagish,
Tanacross, Upper Tanana, Tahltan, and Tlingit. A customized version of
LaserGwich'in also supports Koyukan (specify if needed). Because of the variety of diacritics, many
European, Roman-based languages, including French, German, and Spanish, are also covered.
LaserGwich'in can even be used for some forms of Chinese transliteration. The diacritics
overstrike any symbol in any combination with other overstrikes.
System Requirements: The fonts install into Microsoft® Windows 7, Vista, XP, or 2000, and work with all Windows-compatible
applications that allow the user to select fonts from a font menu. The product includes
a User's Manual and keyboard layout chart(s). The included keyboard driver(s) allows access to
four characters per key (instead of the normal two) and alternate keyboard
layouts. All documentation is in PDF format, available on the Windows Start
menu, and can be viewed and/or printed using
Adobe Reader. The fonts will print to any printer at
the highest quality allowed by your printer.
A custom version (fonts only) is available
for Linux,
but Linux users must provide alternate keyboard input for characters in the
extended character set. If you are ordering for Linux be sure to select the
Linux box on the Order Form.
Cost: US$ 99.95 for any one
typestyle; $50 for
each additional typestyle; $249.95
for all five typestyles (LaserGwich'in Professional). (The $50
discounted price applies only to additional typestyles of this product for
